Karolyn Troupe,

Athens, GA has been home for Karolyn since 2001. After graduating with a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at UGA, she began working in cancer and vaccine research at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center and local biotech companies. Because of her love for the town, she decided to invest in property and immerse herself in the unique qualities Athens has to offer. After some time in the lab and after publishing her research, she took a break from her career in science to pursue a passion in music, traveling the nation writing and performing in musical acts professionally.  Missing Athens after years on the road, she decided to settle down and focus on building a family and a business.

Today, Karolyn lives in Normaltown with her husband, daughter and 3 cats. She is an owner and partial owner of multiple properties in Athens, which brings an intimate perspective of property management and investment to Classic City Real Estate.
